These terms govern your use of the Polelo Trading Academy website, member portal and trading journal platform. By applying for membership or using the site, you accept them.
The Academy provides trading education: courses, written material, live mentorship sessions, a community and a trading journal tool. That is the entirety of what you are buying.
This is the most important section on the page, so we will be blunt.
Trading carries substantial risk. Most people who attempt it lose money. You can lose more than you expect, and past performance never predicts future results. Every trading decision you make is yours alone, and you are responsible for its outcome. Never trade with money you cannot afford to lose.
Membership is by application. We may accept or decline any application at our discretion, and we are not obliged to give detailed reasons. Submitting an application does not create a membership, and no payment is due until an application is accepted.
Payment is by bank or wire transfer against the instructions we issue on acceptance. Access is activated after we manually verify your proof of payment. Prices are in Botswana Pula and may change for new or renewing members, but never mid-period. Online card checkout is not currently available.
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
All course material, videos, documents, worksheets and branding remain our property. Your membership grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own learning.
You may not copy, record, republish, resell, share or redistribute any material, or use it to build a competing product. Doing so ends your membership immediately, without refund.
In the community and live sessions: be civil, do not give financial advice to other members, do not promote your own services, brokers or referral schemes, and do not share other members' information. We may remove anyone who makes the space worse for everyone else.
Your journal entries, notes and screenshots remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store and display them back to you within the platform. We do not publish or sell your data.
Selected free material is available after you opt in to our WhatsApp updates group. Opting in gives you updates and free content only — it does not give access to paid academy content. You can leave at any time.
We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms, abuses the platform or its members, or attempts to compromise the service. Where a breach is serious, no refund is due.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Academy. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified to members, and the date at the top will change. Continuing to use the platform means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Botswana, and the courts of Botswana have jurisdiction over any dispute. Please talk to us first — most things are resolved with an email.
