Polelo Trading Academy · Botswana

Trade with intention.

Trading is a skill. Skill requires structure, discipline and repetition.

Polelo Trading Academy provides structured trading education and mentorship for people serious about understanding the markets and developing a repeatable trading process.

Admission by application · Education, not financial advice

Markets reward preparation,
not impatience.

Our position

We don’t teach everyone. We develop traders.

Most trading education sells an outcome. We teach a process — because the process is the only part of trading you actually control.

That means understanding how a market moves before predicting where it goes. Sizing a position before taking it. Reviewing a loss instead of avenging it. None of it is dramatic. All of it compounds.

A strategy without risk management is not a strategy. The objective is not to predict every move — it is to build a process you can execute consistently.

The room

Preparation happens long before the market opens.

What we teach

Competence, in the order it has to be built

  1. 01

    Market foundations

How markets function, who moves them, and the vocabulary you need before anything else makes sense.

  2. 02

    Market structure

Trend, range, breaks of structure and shifts — reading what price is doing rather than what you hope it will do.

  3. 03

    Liquidity & price action

Where orders rest, why price seeks them, and how institutional flow shapes the moves retail traders chase.

  4. 04

    Risk management

Position sizing, exposure and drawdown control. Taught before execution, because survival precedes profit.

  5. 05

    Trading psychology

Patience, restraint and the discipline to follow rules on the days the rules feel wrong.

  6. 06

    Journalling & review

Recording every trade and letting the data — not memory — tell you what to correct.

The desk

One process, run the same way on every trade.

The method

One sequence. Every trade.

The same seven steps, run in the same order, whether the last trade won or lost. Consistency is the point.

01

Understand the market

Establish context and bias before looking for a trade at all.

02

Identify structure

Mark the levels that matter. Ignore everything that does not.

03

Wait for the setup

Most of the work is not taking the trade. Patience is a position.

04

Manage risk

Size the trade so a loss is survivable and irrelevant to the next one.

05

Execute

Follow the plan exactly as written, without improvisation.

06

Review

Log it honestly — the entry, the reasoning, the emotion, the outcome.

07

Refine

Change the process only on evidence, never on a single result.

Structure

Read what price is doing before deciding what it might do.

Fit

This is not for everyone.

We would rather say so now than take money from someone we cannot help.

Not designed for people who want

  • Guaranteed profits
  • A signal group to copy
  • Overnight success
  • Gambling disguised as trading
  • Someone to trade on their behalf
  • Constant market predictions
  • Shortcuts

Built for people willing to

  • Study properly
  • Practise before risking capital
  • Journal every trade
  • Manage risk before return
  • Follow a process they did not invent
  • Accept losses as data
  • Review their own mistakes
  • Stay consistent when it is boring
The edge

Detail decides the trade. Most of it is unglamorous.

The programme

A curriculum, not a playlist

Ten areas of competence, released in order. You always know what you are working on and what comes next.

How markets work, instruments, sessions, platforms and the language of price.

Reading charts with intent — timeframes, levels and confluence that actually matter.

Trend, ranges, breaks of structure and shifts in market state.

Order flow, liquidity pools, sweeps and the anatomy of institutional moves.

Entry models, confirmation, trade management and exits written as rules.

Position sizing, R multiples, exposure limits and drawdown control.

Patience, tilt, revenge trading, and the discipline to follow your plan.

Recording, measuring and interrogating your own performance data.

Turning what you have learned into one documented, testable playbook.

Running the playbook under real conditions, with mentorship and accountability.

Questions

Straight answers

No. The programme begins at market foundations and assumes no prior knowledge. What matters more is whether you are willing to study consistently and follow a process.

No one can honestly promise that, and we will not. Trading carries real risk and many people who attempt it lose money. What we teach is structure, risk management and the discipline to execute a plan.

Because the programme only works for people who actually run it. A short interview lets us understand where you are and set honest expectations before anyone pays anything.

It is self-paced. Most members work through it around full-time employment over several months, then keep using the mentorship and journal as they trade.

No. Polelo Trading Academy provides education only. We are not licensed advisers, we do not manage money and we do not sell signals.

By bank transfer, after your application is accepted. You submit proof of payment and we verify it manually. Card checkout is not yet available.

The long game

Consistency is built slowly, and it is the only thing that compounds.

Serious about trading?

Then treat it like a skill worth mastering.

Trading carries risk and you can lose money. Polelo Trading Academy provides education only — it does not give financial advice and does not guarantee results.
